What I did
I managed social media activity for The Masonite Group, supporting with community management, social media planning, content scheduling and paid social media advertising throughout the year. Working across multiple brands within the group allowed me to balance both creative and strategic responsibilities, ensuring that content remained consistent, engaging and aligned with wider campaign objectives. I worked closely with the client to strengthen the relationship and establish a more organised and collaborative approach to social media activity across their channels.
One of the key projects I supported was the amplification of Solidor’s first TV campaign across social media. I helped extend the campaign beyond traditional advertising by creating a stronger social media presence around it, ensuring the campaign reached audiences across multiple touchpoints. Alongside this, I established a regular social media calendar and introduced a more consistent process for both organic and paid social content, helping the team plan campaigns more effectively and maintain stronger continuity across platforms.
I also managed paid advertising campaigns across X, Facebook and Instagram for both Doorstop International and Solidor. This included creating content for Doorstop International’s paid campaigns, supporting the curation of content for Solidor and ensuring campaigns were tailored appropriately for each platform and audience. In addition, I introduced and developed a user-generated content process, advising the client on how to integrate UGC naturally into their wider social media calendar. By doing this, the content felt more community-led and authentic, whilst also helping the brands strengthen engagement and trust with their audiences online.
