What I did
While working at Nonsense London, I completed a secondment within Sky, where I supported the launch of Sky Protect and worked closely across multiple teams to help coordinate marketing activity for the campaign. My role involved collaborating with internal stakeholders, creative teams, media teams and agency partners to ensure all campaign elements remained aligned and delivered consistently across channels. Working within a fast-paced environment required strong organisation and communication skills, particularly when coordinating information and approvals across several departments at once.
A key part of my role involved supporting the paid social strategy for the launch of Sky Protect, helping ensure the campaign maintained a consistent brand presence across all outputs. I worked closely with creative, media and PR teams to coordinate campaign activity and support the delivery of assets across paid social channels. Alongside this, I helped co-develop the wider paid social and marketing plan for the launch, ensuring creative content aligned with media strategy and broader campaign objectives.
Throughout the secondment, I regularly coordinated with multiple teams across Sky to gather the information needed to support campaign planning and execution. This included managing communication between departments, ensuring campaigns remained organised and helping streamline the delivery of marketing activity across channels. The experience strengthened my understanding of integrated marketing campaigns and gave me the opportunity to work closely within a large-scale brand environment, balancing strategy, coordination and campaign execution simultaneously.
