What I did
I supported Qatar Government’s Years of Culture initiative across social media content and wider campaign-related tasks. I worked across content planning, social media support and influencer marketing, helping ensure campaigns and cultural initiatives were communicated clearly and consistently across their platforms. The role involved supporting a wide range of content that highlighted cultural exchange, creativity and collaboration across different countries and communities connected to the programme.
One of the key areas I supported was the organisation’s 10th anniversary campaign, where Years of Culture partnered with countries across the MENASA region. This involved helping promote content from multiple regions whilst ensuring social media activity remained cohesive and aligned with the wider campaign messaging. Alongside this, I supported Qatar-based events connected to the anniversary celebrations, including two dinner events, where I assisted with content-related support and campaign coordination surrounding the activations.
I also supported influencer marketing activity for the initiative, researching content creators and carrying out outreach to identify suitable collaborators for campaigns and cultural projects. Alongside campaign support, I assisted with content management tasks across the initiative, helping maintain a consistent social presence whilst contributing towards the promotion of large-scale cultural partnerships and events across the region.
