What I did
I supported Qatar Government’s Years of Culture initiative through social media management, influencer marketing and campaign support across major cultural projects and events. My role involved supporting content promotion, community-focused initiatives and campaign coordination, helping ensure activity remained engaging, culturally relevant and aligned with the wider objectives of the programme.
A major part of my role involved supporting the promotion of Qatar’s FIFA World Cup-related cultural activities, including the Flag Plaza project. I helped amplify campaign content across social media whilst supporting wider promotional activity connected to Qatar’s global cultural presence during the tournament. This included coordinating and supporting content surrounding large-scale initiatives that celebrated international culture, creativity and participation during the World Cup period.
Alongside this, I also supported the Qatar Creates initiative, which encouraged audiences to submit manga artwork as part of a wider creative campaign. I assisted with both the promotion and entry management process, helping ensure submissions and campaign communications were managed smoothly across social platforms. In addition, I researched and outreached to content creators for influencer marketing opportunities, supporting campaigns designed to increase awareness, engagement and participation across the initiative’s digital channels.
