What I did
While working at Edelman, I supported a range of major brands including Škoda UK, McDonald's UK, Cheez-It and Kellogg's across platforms including Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and LinkedIn. Working across multiple accounts simultaneously required adapting content styles, tone of voice and engagement approaches depending on the brand and platform, whilst maintaining consistency across ongoing campaigns and day-to-day social activity.
My role included content creation, community management, social media calendar management and supporting with concept ideation across various campaigns. I created social-first content designed to increase engagement and platform relevance, with one piece of content reaching over 6.6k views within five hours. Alongside this, I managed communities with audiences of over 300,000 followers, supporting engagement across branded content and helping maintain active and responsive social channels for each client.
I also supported community outreach activity, engaging with trending and culturally relevant conversations through reactive commenting and social engagement strategies designed to increase visibility and audience interaction. One community outreach comment generated over 33,000 likes, helping amplify brand visibility organically through social conversation. Alongside day-to-day engagement and content creation, I also managed social media calendars and supported with campaign and content ideation, contributing towards wider creative planning and helping brands remain culturally relevant across fast-moving social platforms.
